What is bagoong?
A Filipino condiment known as bagoóng is composed entirely or mostly of fermented fish, krill, or shrimp paste with salt. The fermenting process also yields patis, a type of fish sauce. In the Philippines, there are numerous regional variations in bagoóng cooking.
